These are overlooked by most because people don't know what they are.
These are fan palms with an unusual twist. They have a subterranean trunk for many
years so the branches grow upward from very low. As it matures it will eventually develop
a trunk. This tree will become a nice addition to your collection with fan leaves will become
quite large. These are also very cold hardy being able to handle temps in the low 20s! 
Sabals are not all that common and worth your consideration.
